Less Time Wasted

Windows doesn’t especially encourage custom grouping of launchable assets (files, folders, programs, scripts, web pages, etc.). This forces you to spend time looking for the shortcut you need, each time you use it. By allowing you to do project or task-based grouping, Cecil Launcher cuts down this time in half, if not less. It even gets better, since you can build launchable groups, which allow you to have related files, programs or web pages opened in one go.

Increased Focus

Each time you lose visual contact with the file or web page you currently work on, you potentially loose focus. Cecil Launcher makes that less dramatic, since you don’t need to show the desktop in order to find and launch a program or file’s shortcut you might be needing. Its menu widget slides-in over a small portion of the screen, and hides back when not needed anymore, helping you keep your train of thought.

Simplified Daily Routine

On each new workday, you routinely open the same programs, files, network shares and web pages: a lot of mindless clicks. Why not have them waiting for you? Cecil Launcher makes it a breeze to auto-start things with Windows; it can also tell a program what to do (or load) when it starts, via launch arguments; and can help automating all those monkey jobs such as moving files or folders around, via integrated support for running BATCH and JS code.

More of Yourself

Cecil Launcher encourages you to let your creativity show, and highly personalize the menus you create: by choosing custom fonts, colors and image decorations to match your taste and mindset. While no customization is needed (since the slim and elegant out-of-the-box look of Cecil already makes it a pleasure to look at) you could tweak your entries appearance to make them easier to spot or to impress your clients, customers or friends.
